For Valentine’s Day this year I bought myself books. They arrived at my door a few days ago, all in one craft colored box. As a person who loves gifts, the sense of wonder found in an unopened package still thrills me. Sometimes I ignore the return sender name and address to maintain that element of surprise. I have zero regrets when it comes to buying books, it’s a guilt free online shopping addiction habit. These latest releases are exciting additions to my library. One-by-one as I pulled them out of the box they looked so romantic, their covers and book jackets with varying romantic designs. Hearts, flowers, glowing eyes glowing right into the camera, big colorful text and soft renderings of a femme body. They felt as warm and soft as I felt when I bought them that morning.
